This workshop will introduce you to the management strategies used by the professionals to grow, propagate, harvest and cure bamboo to create one of the most sustainable and beautiful natural building materials.
On site students can learn from and get inspired by a multitude of naturally built structures that have been constructed at the Ranch and in the small rural community of Masión in tha Península de Nicoya (one of 4 Blue zone of the word ). Students will stay at the hotel amazing facilities. In addition, you will be to learn about bamboo management will be exposed to a host of other sustainable living projects including, composting toilets, visit Chorotega indigenous community. It promises to be a fun-filled, productive and instructional course for everyone involved. This course will be taught in Spanish and English.
Combine this workshop with the Bamboo construction class and natural building that directly follows this workshop for a special price of only $1,000. This includes: 4 days accommodation and all meals. Instruction from world leading instructor, two days to visit Chorotega indigenous community and one day to visit Barra Honda Caverns.
